TRAVEL TIPS
You want to visit some countries such as Greece for example and then France. Others will prefer a trip to Vietnam. Maybe you wanted to see Spain or take a long trip across Europe. Ah yes… Japan, another country that one of your friends absolutely enjoyed. Let’s not forget Brazil. Copacabana, the carnival and so much more! In this case, what is your financial situation? Not that great unfortunately! "Well we can always dream of traveling". Not so fast. You have options to travel for smaller budget than you think.
Of course, no one will give you the guarantee that you can visit the entire planet for pennies, but you will be able to see at least a quarter of these countries that you really wanted to visit.
The first thing to do is to choose your destination. Avoid choices based on: "A quick stop in India followed by a few days in Japan to see the Samouraïs" They exist and you would do better to be more concrete in your choices. Which are the largest expenses for these trips? Transportation, hotels and probably food.
Transportation:
If you move around the continent, you have thousands of ways to save money. This is also the best way to meet nice people along the way. It is necessary to say that even if your destination is located far away, you can, after you have arrived by airplane or by boat, travel inside the continent using a car, buses or even trains.
Hotels:
The options are so numerous in this area that you will not lack to find an adequate solution. Unless you decide to sleep at the same place of your arrival. Although that may seem absolutely unbelievable but you can actually stay directly at the airport!
Camping:
The major advantage is that it is absolutely free. You find yourself a safe spot, you install your tent and there you go! Nevertheless, the list of inconveniences is also quite long. First of all, it is not allowed in all cities, next it can be quite a challenge to take a shower and stay clean. Consequently, you must carry water with you. Another problem is that it is not easy to just have a short nap. A night, it’s fine but it’s not as easy during the day.
Food:
This chapter is the easiest one to manage. Avoid the restaurants, the canteens and other places like this. Go buy food directly at the market, preferably towards the end of the day when the merchants are more willing to get rid of their merchandise for a cheap price. Besides the markets, you can also make a trip to the supermarket. If you travel for a long time, take a break and go to the restaurant once in a while. Nevertheless, even in that case, avoid the restaurants invaded by tourists. You will be able to find with a bit of luck and intuition a few restaurants that can really serve amazing food.
